Dnmcs Inc. ("we", "us", "our") operates the Dnmcs platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
We collect information you provide directly: email address, name, role, company information, and assessment responses. We also collect usage data automatically: device information, browser type, IP address, pages visited, and interaction patterns. We do not collect sensitive personal data beyond what you voluntarily provide through the assessment.
We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) generate your decision profile and AI-powered analyses; (c) enable team collaboration features; (d) send transactional emails (magic links, team invitations); (e) improve and optimize the Service; (f) comply with legal obligations. We do not use your assessment responses for advertising or sell them to third parties.
Your assessment responses are processed by our scoring algorithms to generate decision profiles. When you use decision analysis or team profile features, relevant profile data is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We do not send your raw assessment responses to third-party AI providers — only aggregated scores and dimension labels. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models.
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Neon (database) and Render (application hosting). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We share your information only in the following circumstances: (a) with team members when you join a team (limited to name, role, assessment status, and generated profiles); (b) with service providers who assist in operating the Service (Anthropic for AI, Neon for database, Render for hosting, Resend for email); (c) when required by law or to protect our rights; (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
When you create or join a team, your name, role, assessment status, and team-generated profiles ("Working with me" guides) are visible to other team members. Team administrators can view member status and manage invitations. If you leave a team, your shared team profile data may be retained for the team's reference.
We use localStorage to maintain your session and language preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. We may use minimal analytics to understand Service usage patterns.
You have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your account and associated data; (d) export your assessment data; (e) withdraw consent for data processing. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for research and improvement purposes.
Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
